Quick answer: Both are reusable, both wash out, and both are on sale now. The real question is where you want the control to come from. FLIP FLEXY has a fully flexible shell, so you squeeze anywhere and the whole body answers. FLIP 360 keeps a firm case and gives you pressure pads arranged all the way around, so you adjust at specific points instead. FLEXY is the softer, more adaptable one. 360 is the more deliberate one.

What FLIP FLEXY is
FLIP FLEXY is the first flexible product in the FLIP Series. Every FLIP before it has been built around a firm case with pads in fixed positions. FLEXY replaces that with what TENGA calls a Flexible Shell, a casing that combines soft and hard materials so pressure can be applied from any direction rather than only where a pad happens to sit.
In practice that changes what adjusting it feels like. You are not pressing a control, you are holding the thing differently, and it responds to that.
Inside are the Dynamic Embedded Details: a highly elastic ring and orb set into the elastomer, which TENGA says was not possible with previous FLIP items. The result is the thickest elastomer and the biggest internal details in the history of the series.
It uses the familiar Flip Style mechanism, opening in two for cleaning. One detail worth knowing before you buy: after washing, the Cap included in the box is the drying stand. That is different from older FLIP models, which lay their slide arms flat for the same job. If you already own a FLIP, do not assume the routine carries over.
TENGA has not published dimensions or weights for FLIP FLEXY. We would rather say that plainly than guess.
What FLIP 360 is
FLIP 360 goes the other way. The case stays firm, and the innovation is in the shape: a boldly reimagined helical design whose internal details twist the whole way around, so the stimulation arrives from every direction instead of one face.
The control comes from the 360 degree Pressure Pads set around the body. Because they surround it rather than sitting on two sides, you can change the pressure from whatever angle you happen to be holding, and change which angle you press as you go.
It is not electronic. TENGA is explicit about this: no battery, no motor, nothing to charge.
FLIP 360 is also the better documented of the two. TENGA publishes an insertion depth of approximately 16.5 cm, an insertion width of approximately 5 cm, and materials of elastomer, PC, ABS and PVC. It is hard-cased with no stretch, and a sample of TENGA Lotion Regular comes in the box.
It arrives in two versions:
- MIDNIGHT PURPLE is the bold one. Dense internal details packed throughout, enveloping from every angle, for an intensely stimulating experience.
- AURORA GREEN is the softer one. Intricately sculpted details and dense elastomer that embrace from all directions, for a gently immersive experience.
Opening and cleaning, where they differ most
This is the part people skip and then get wrong.
FLIP FLEXY opens in two like the FLIP models you already know. Wash it out, then stand it on the Cap from the box to dry.
FLIP 360 opens differently from every other FLIP, because of the twisting shape. You push the upper side of the body in the direction of the arrows to open it, and slide the Slide Guards near the top together until you hear a click to close it.
One rule matters more than the rest:
The FLIP 360 body opens to a maximum of 110 degrees. Opening it beyond that will damage it.
TENGA repeats that warning throughout its own documentation, which tells you how easy it is to do by accident.
For both, wash with cold or tepid water and a mild soap. Never use water at 50°C or above, never alcohol or other cleaners, and let the product dry completely before storing. Water-based lubricant only on both, since oils and silicone damage the material.
