iroha Stick: small, light and easy to start with
Stick is the smallest and most affordable model. It's slim, about 10 cm long, with a cap over the tip for clean storage or carrying. You set the strength with a dial, so you can build up a little at a time at your own pace.
Suits: anyone trying iroha for the first time without spending much, or who wants something small and portable. We stock it in Gray and White.
iroha Zen: soft and rounded
Zen has a rounded shape that sits comfortably in the hand, with an extra-soft Soft-Touch silicone surface and an anti-dust coating. It has four modes on one button: low, medium, high and pulse.
Suits: anyone who wants a soft feel and would like to try a few modes to find what they like. We stock it in Matcha and Hanacha.
iroha Rin Akane: a slimmer tip for a more focused feel
Rin Akane is the longest of the three. Its standout feature is a soft, flexible, rounded silicone tip that gives a more focused sensation. It has the same four modes as Zen. The manual advises against pulling or twisting the silicone tip.
Suits: anyone who'd like something a little more focused while sticking with an affordable battery model.
What about the rest of the range?
If you already know what you like, or you'd prefer a rechargeable model, there's more to the iroha line.
- iroha Rin+ Sango (฿3,690): an upgraded Rin, recharged with a magnetic USB cable. About 2 hours to charge for about 90 minutes of use, with four strengths and two pulse patterns.
- iroha Sakura and iroha Yuki (฿3,790): rounded, palm-sized and rechargeable, with three strengths and two pulse patterns. iroha describes the motor as strong and near-silent. The two differ in design: Sakura is inspired by cherry blossom, Yuki by snow. We stock both in the Nadeshiko Pink limited edition colour. See iroha's official page for more.
- iroha Mai Toki (฿7,990): the top of the range, using HapticWave technology to turn low-frequency sound waves into vibration, with 10 rhythm patterns and 3 strengths. iroha says it's quieter than its other models. It charges on a base that doubles as a stand, and it's controlled with buttons on the device. There's no app.
Batteries or rechargeable: which is better?
Neither is better. It depends on how you'll use it.
- Battery models cost less to start with, are ready again as soon as you swap the batteries, and leave no charging cable lying around.
- Rechargeable models save buying batteries and have more features. There's no plug in the box, so you'll use a USB port or a 5V 1A adapter you already have.
What every model has in common
- A body-safe silicone surface
- Waterproof to a depth of 50 cm, so it's easy to rinse clean
- Compatible with water-based lubricants only
- Washed in cool or lukewarm water with a mild, pH-neutral soap
